I Am Poem
I took a poem I wrote about myself, then I shaped the words into me wearing headphones and listening to music. My favorite part about this picture is the words being used to make a picture of myself because it was challenging and I was glad when I finished. My least favorite part is the neck part of the shirt I drew. I made this picture on an iPad (SketchBookX).

Olivia Name Picture
I took pictures of things that looked like letters from my name, then highlighted the part that looked like the letters in SketchBookX. I then organized it and make the background black using SketchBookX. My favorite thing about this picture is using my bicycle as an "A" because I think that was really creative. One thing I don't like about it is I feel like I highlighted the letters to much.

Apple Tree at Sunrise
For this picture I sketched out some mountains and a tree, then I colored then in with colored pencils and markers, I also colored the sunrise and the meadow. I added the birds because I thought the picture needed some more color. After that I drew a picture of apples and and apple basket on a separate piece of paper, then glued them on to make the picture more interesting. My favorite part of this picture is the birds, my least favorite part is that I think it still looks boring.

This is a drawing I drew for a mural. It's for a church. It's saying that you should take back things that have been turned bad. Overall I'm pretty proud of this drawing, especially the boat. If I could change one thing about this picture I would change the font of the quote. The treasure chest was the hardest part for me to draw.
This is the dot I colored for dot day. Dot day is about being original and that you are special the way you are. To show this everyone colored their own dot and it was really fun. I'm not sure that I like my dot though, because it's very simple.
This is a logo I made and it is multicolored with "Olivia", which is my name, on it. I really like this logo and I had a lot of fun designing it in SketchBookX. I found getting all the spaces colored in a little difficult though.
This is what I put my logo on. I made this in SketchBookX by drawing the items, coloring them in, and then photoshopping my logo, that I had saved to my photos, onto them. It wasn't extremely difficult, but I kept forgetting to save it and had to start over several times.
This is a printmaking picture I made. To do printmaking you carve out this little block and stamp it. you keep carving and stamping until you have all the shapes and colors on the picture. This picture is about a book series called "The Series of Unfortunate Events". The hardest thing about this project is that I accidentally cut myself with the carving tool a couple times. I mostly like this picture, only the eyebrow is backwards.
I made a video about the Dutch artist Peit Mondrian, but it was deleted. It was an iMovie and it was me interviewing him. I think that turned out very swell. The best part was my creative idea, the worst part is me and my dads lines weren't very rehearsed, and my brother in the background kept making me laugh. The most difficult part was getting a good camera angle.
